I have single wheel hubs. They are from an early 90s Dodge. Yours should be the same as my 90s era Ford. The lockouts tuck inside the rock rings, out of harms way.

Did you weld them in yourself? I would have to have them done.

Yes.
You could also run spacers or find a set of drw hubs.

Any opinions on these over a weld on beadlock, I know these are a double lock vs the weld on's single? I priced out a set of weld on's for $150 a wheel and I can reuse my rubber, and I figured $200 each to build a set of these (plus shipping on the wheels) but I'd also need a new set of tires at $400-$500 each. So I guess my question is... is that inside lock worth the extra $$$?

I'd say, for you, no. Stick with a 17. You need a double lock on a 16.5 because of the lack of any bead retention device on the wheels. 17s have the bump, so it will hold. Most of the pressure is on the outside bead anyway. Plus 16.5 tires are on the way out. Only the specialty tire makers cater to them any more.

We are going to be able to build a set of 5 of these for $300.

300 for all 5? The cheapest centers I can find are 50 each, then rings, gaskets, pvc centers, and what ever else I'm forgetting...

I'm making my own beadlocks. I found centers for $43 each. So, $135+215=$345. I'm not doing rock rings and probably using spacers instead of recentering, so I'm back at $135+spacers.

My Jeep doesn't even run, so I won't be using these wheels for a long time. I just got a set because they are cheap.
